Internet connection recommendations​

  • traffic volume for 1 month: 500 MB (minimum), 1 GB (recommended)
  • data rate: 512 kbps (minimum), 1-5 Mbps (recommended)
  • IP address: dynamic (static is optional)

For initial registration in the network, the SIM card must be checked in the mobile device. If the card is active and the data transfer is working properly, the Internet browser will load network resources. If this condition is not met, you need to clarify the information in the technical support service of the cellular network operator. Before choosing a SIM card, you should check the quality of coverage directly at the place where the charging station is installed. This can be done using a smartphone that displays the signal level (dB) in the operating system settings. On the example of Samsung: Phone Details -> Status Details -> SIM Status -> Signal Strength

Cellular Strengthening

For a stable connection of the station with the control system, a stable data transmission channel is required, so the signal level must be at least -70 dB. If this condition is not met, alternative communication methods (Wi-Fi, LAN) should be used.
